Jenny Eclair
Stand-up comedian Jenny Eclair was the first woman to win the coveted Perrier Award at the Edinburgh Festival in 1995. Since then, she has become a Sunday Times bestselling author with both novels and non-fiction books, including her 2022 release, The writing on the wall. Her Sunday Times bestselling book Older and Wider – A Survivor’s Guide to the Menopause, is Jenny’s hilarious, irreverent and refreshingly honest compendium of the menopause. Jenny’s most recent tour SIXTY! (Ffs) sold out in venues across the UK. This tour served as a timely sequel to her previous stand-up show How to be a Middle-Aged Woman (without going insane), that even toured as far afield as Australia! Her biggest theatrical hit to date has been co-writing (with Judith Holder) and starring in all three Grumpy Old Women Live shows, both in the UK and Australia. On the small screen, Jenny’s highlights include the Grumpy Old Women series, BBC’s Room 101 and QI, as well as ITV’s Loose Women and reality shows Splash and I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here. Most recently, Jenny Eclair appeared as a contestant on Series 15 of Taskmaster finishing in third place.
